Microblading is A treatment we no longer offer due to the following reasons. Microblading is A very old fashion treatment and has been around for over 15 years, it hasn't been updated in the way the treatment is carried out. Microblading is performed using a hand held tool with Approx 20 slanted blades dipped in ink and scalpeled into the skin, this in Its self sounds painful and damaging, which it is, unfortunately, this procedure can be very traumatic to the skin and can cause scarring and migration. Because the treatment is done by hand, human pressure can never be consistent the whole way through each brow, this is why A lot of people have poor healed results that last no longer than A few months, reason being for this is that human pressure is unpredictable and you can never guarantee that each and every hair stroke the technician implants will be the same depth in the skin everytime, A lot of clients will also see and experience bad colour changes, this again is due to poor ink choice, lack of technician knowledge/ experience and the pressure and position of the blade, if its implanted too deep the ink will reflect A dark shadow that bounces off the skin which causes the tattoo to look ashy, grey, green, salmon pink and sometimes blue, This is not to take away or hate on any artists that offer Microblading as there truly are some incredibly skilled talented microbladers that execute there work seamlessly, but the biggest problem with Microblading is that no matter how skilled that artist is, within A year/ 2 years down the line those hairstrokes will NOT hold crisp! Any form of oil in A clients skin the ink will mix with and they will become merged together or become blurred it's skin not paper, it simply can not hold a crisp line forever. It can look great on the day then once healed 4/6 weeks later it can look completely different, and more often than not can become A blocky mess.. I never recommend Microblading to anyone there's so many better options and alternatives out there, My clients are my walking artwork and I will only produce the best possible outcome for them and for my own reputation. There will be A lot of artists out there that are newly qualified and do not understand the anatomy and layers of the skin and to put it bluntly just want your money and will promise you amazing unrealistic results, I like to keep it real with my clients and give them the best possible results period.
